Weekly Wednesday Prayer, Praise and Bible Study
The summer months are here, corporate bible study has come to a close until September. However, saints of God always be reminded of what the Word of God requires of us individually. 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Prayer and study should be a way of life. Have a safe and blessed summer.
Parking
Please do not park in the handicap spaces unless you have your handicap permit displayed. Please be mindful that there are disciples who really need these spaces. Thank you.
SOS -
It's that time again! "VBS is coming soon, so please mark your calendar for July 19 - 22 & July 26 - 30. Here is a reminder, VBS is not just for kids. We pray that the adults will be willing participants as well. In the next few weeks there will be a volunteer sign up sheet on the bulletin board. We look forward to seeing each and everyone of you there.
Kenya Foreign Missions-
In support of foreign missions in Africa, the NHBC Foreign Missions Ministry invites you to share in our First Kenya Benefit Service. The Benefit Service will beheld on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The service will be an evening filled with prayer and praise. Come and celebrate as we highlight missionary work in Kenya, Africa. Adonation table will be set up in the vestibule for the collection of much needed school supplies for the school children of Kenya. Together we can make this an evening which delivers not only on a promise to provide but lifts up the power of prayer and praise.
Semi-Annual Church Conference - All Disciples are invited to attend this meeting on July 30th, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. so we all can be updated on the current activities of the church, as well as hear where God is leading our Pastor. Come and be informed about the business of our church and the vision God has for us for the rest of this year. Be blessed and informed.
Pastor's Aide -
Pastor's Aide would like to remind you to mark your calendars for the 3rd annual "Pastor's Aide Flea Market." it will be held on the 2nd Saturday in September. Now is the time to think about what you would like to sell. So, clean those closets out, check out your attics and basements. Remember your trash may be someone else's treasure. More information will be forth coming.
Encounter (Couples Ministry) -
The Encounter (Couples) Ministry welcomes all married couples to join us on our trip to the Sight & Sound Theater in Pennsylvania, to see the stage productions of "Joseph." A bus will leave our church on Saturday, September 25th, at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Adults ticket prices are $120.00 per person. $80.00 is due by May 30th and $40.00 will be due by July 25th.
